H2 Truck will increase the share of renewable energy in the global energy mix, and ensure access to affordable, reliable and modern energy services. We support international cooperation to facilitate access to clean energy research and technology, focussing on the decarbonisation of heavy duty transport. 

H2 Truck will stimulate the development of infrastructure for clean transport. This includes regional and transborder infrastructure, to support economic development and human well-being, and helping make industries ans transport sustainable, with increased resource-use efficiency and greater adoption of clean and environmentally sound technologies.

H2 Truck will introduce hydrogen trucks, stimulating the development of sustainable transport systems and reducing emissions for the good of the people in cities and  human settlements. The project will contribute to discussions on spatial planning and deployment of hydrogen infrastructure for transport. 

H2 Truck will encourage companies to adopt sustainable practices for their transport, and to integrate sustainability information into their reporting cycle. We will work together with public actors to promote how zero emission transport should be implemented in public procurement practices, in accordance with national policies and priorities.

H2 Truck will help fight climate changes by introducing renewable energy in transport, and reducing climate gas emissions. This is done in accordance to political ambitions and the industries commitment to transform to more sustainable transport.

H2 Truck represents a broad collaboration between industry partners, research institutes and public actors. Such cooperation is essential to be able to introduce hydrogen trucks in transport, and to reach regional, national and global climate goals.
