This phase of H2 Truck includes the following activities. The partners participate in the activities on various basis, ensuring that the industry’s interests are put first in the entire project implementation.

Detailed analysis. A detailed analysis will be performed for a number of transport users, in order to establish a detailed basis for the acquisition of trucks in the main project. A list of 100+ trucks that can be replaced with hydrogen trucks will be prepared. The analysis is performed by IFE.

Trucks. We will develop the contact with the truck manufacturers to prepare the cooperation in the next phase of H2 Truck, the implementation project. The ambition is to sign letter of intent with minimum 2 truck manufacturers

Infrastructure. H2 Truck will contribute to collaboration with infrastructure developers to ensure that infrastructure is established for production and filling of hydrogen at relevant locations. We take a holistic approach, and see infrastructure for trucks in connection with other areas of application

Corridors. Collaboration with projects and initiatives in other regions in Norway and internationally. These include the Vestland and Trøndelag regions in Norway, as well as the Nordic Hydrogen Corridor (Sweden), and the STRING Hydrogen Corridor under development.

Framework conditions. H2 Truck will collaborate with the City of Oslo, Viken County Council other regional and national authorities to ensure good dialogue between the public and private actors, and the development of necessary incitaments for the transition to zero emission heavy-duty transport.

Dissemination. More knowledge is necessary across the value chain in order to help truck users make the right choice of truck and fuel – and for the providers of hydrogen to understand the needs of the users.  H2 Truck will disseminate information and results beyond the partnership to a wide range of transport users, politicians, local and national authorities and other stakeholders.

Next phase. Prepare a plan for a main project for rolling out a large number of trucks.
